Quorum's Calendar Sync helps government affairs professionals walk into every Hill meeting prepared and log every interaction before they leave the building. The calendar integration makes this automatic — it reads a user's calendar to detect meetings with participants with a .gov email domain, delivers a briefing that morning, and sends a post-meeting prompt to log notes. Users already store notes in Quorum; the Calendar Sync powers the email reminders.

Is this one-way or two-way sync?
One-way, read-only. Quorum reads your calendar. Nothing is written back — no events are created, edited, or deleted.
What OAuth scopes are requested?
No email, contacts, drive, or document access is included. The following is requested by provider:

Does Quorum store our users' credentials?
No. Nylas holds the OAuth token; Quorum never receives or stores it. Quorum only receives the event metadata Nylas passes along.
Can we revoke access?
Yes, at any time — from Quorum settings or directly via Google or Microsoft account settings.
Does Nylas store calendar event data?
No. Nylas acts as the OAuth broker and transport layer only — it passes metadata to Quorum but does not store calendar event details.
Meeting detection
How does Quorum identify relevant meetings?
It filters for calendar participants with .gov email domains. Meetings without a qualifying participant are not processed or stored.
