Public affairs teams can now define their 2026 candidate universe and manage critical races alongside their existing federal and state officials tracking.
WASHINGTON, D.C., March 24, 2026 — Quorum today announced the launch of Candidate Data, a new offering that helps federal and state government affairs, public policy, advocacy, and political engagement teams track candidates running in the 2026 election cycle directly within Quorum. By bringing candidate intelligence into Quorum’s Officials dataset, Candidate Data gives teams earlier visibility into who may hold office next, enabling more informed policy, outreach, and contribution decisions before votes are cast.
For many public affairs teams, candidate research has long been a fragmented, manual process spread across FEC filings, campaign activity, social platforms, and internal spreadsheets. That slows teams down at the exact moment they need to build context around emerging policymakers, assess risk, and prepare for changes in the political landscape. Candidate Data brings that work together in one place, helping organizations move earlier and operate with greater continuity throughout the election cycle.

Candidate Data is designed for the way public affairs teams actually work. Government affairs and public policy professionals can track challengers and open-seat candidates sooner, identify future champions or risks, and prepare for transitions in officeholders. Advocacy teams can monitor candidate messaging and issue emphasis to anticipate shifts in policy priorities. Political engagement teams can use federal campaign finance data and public campaign activity on federal candidate profiles to support more informed candidate research and contribution strategy.
“Government affairs teams need to understand not only who holds office today, but who may shape policy tomorrow,” said Alex Wirth, Co-Founder and CEO of Quorum. “Candidate Data gives our customers a clearer view of the 2026 field earlier in the cycle, so they can prepare with more context, make smarter decisions, and build institutional knowledge before new leaders take office.”
At launch, Candidate Data includes more than 5,000 candidate profiles across 2026 federal and state races, including incumbents seeking reelection and challengers. Candidate profiles are integrated into Quorum’s Officials dataset and include social media activity from X and Facebook, when available. Federal candidate profiles also include federal campaign finance data to support deeper research into fundraising activity and candidate viability.
By centralizing candidate research within the same platform teams already use to track officials and policy developments, Candidate Data helps organizations preserve continuity and institutional knowledge across election cycles rather than restarting their research after the results are certified.
Availability
Candidate Data is now available for Quorum Federal and State customers. PAC and Grassroots teams may use Candidate Data when they also have Federal product access.
