Quorum Appoints Deepak Varshney as Chief Technology Officer

Washington, DC – October 1st: Quorum, the leading AI-powered public affairs platform, today announced the appointment of Deepak Varshney as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Quorum is a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital.

Deepak Varshney brings more than 25 years of experience building and scaling enterprise software, data, and AI platforms. As CTO, he will lead Quorum’s technology strategy and engineering, data, and AI organization as the company continues to scale, advance its agentic AI roadmap, and strengthen the data and platform foundation its customers rely on.

Varshney has deep data and AI experience, including 15 years leading technology organizations in private equity-backed businesses. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Applied Systems, where he led more than 200 engineers across platform and data portfolios and launched over ten AI products. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Product & Development at Riskonnect, Varshney led global product, engineering, architecture, and data and built the company’s first enterprise data lake. Earlier in his career, Varshney served as Vice President of Products & Technology at CCC Information Services and held technology leadership roles at Hewlett Packard and Manhattan Associates. Varshney holds an MBA from Marquette University and a Bachelor of Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur.

“Deepak has spent his career building the data and AI foundations that enable agentic workflows, while doing it at real scale,” said Alex Wirth, CEO and Founder of Quorum. “He has taken complex systems and massive datasets and turned them into platforms and products that customers depend on every day. As we continue expanding our agentic capabilities, Deepak brings the engineering leadership and technical depth to accelerate how quickly we put that technology in our customers’ hands.”

“I am excited to join Quorum at such an important and dynamic time for its platform and agentic evolution,” said Varshney. “I look forward to the opportunity to further build out the leading government affairs platform and expand its AI functionality, while working alongside a team known for delivering exceptional value to its customers.”
