Within the last three months, lawmakers have mentioned keywords related to the 2021 Invest in America Act over 2,400 times on Twitter, Facebook, Medium, and YouTube and in press releases, floor statements, and newsletters to constituents. That’s a big jump—in the first three months of President Biden’s term, lawmakers mentioned these same topics just 657 times.

Infrastructure matters on both sides of the aisle.
Legislators from both parties are discussing infrastructure priorities—with carefully selected words. The 62.8% of public mentions of infrastructure that come from Democrats are more likely to mention infrastructure funding, whereas the 36.6% of mentions that come from Republicans are more likely to refer to infrastructure spending.
