Quorum Supper Club

Small dinners. Big conversations. Zero presentations.

Show up hungry. Leave with new connections and a few fresh takes on the work.

The Quorum Supper Club is a standing dinner series for government affairs and public policy folks across DC.

Once a month, we bring together a small group around one table for an off-the-record night of shop talk, storytelling, and swapping ideas. No slides. No programming. Just a really good meal with people who understand the job.

We keep the group intentionally tight so conversation actually flows and nobody’s stuck shouting across the table.

What should I expect?

A small table
Usually 10–12 guests. Big enough for variety, small enough to actually talk.

A built-in conversation starter
Every dinner has a loose theme tied to what’s happening right now. Think legislative sessions, AI, grassroots strategy, reporting headaches — whatever’s top of mind.

No pitches
This isn’t a demo in disguise. No decks. No selling. Just real conversation.

An easy night out
All dinners start at 6:30 PM and typically wrap around 8:00 PM — enough time to connect without totally blowing up your evening.

A curated mix of guests
We balance the table intentionally so the conversation stays interesting and useful.

Leave with new connections
We share attendee’s Linkedin profiles after the event to make sure your connection doesn’t flame out after one good conversation.

What restaurants do you go to?

We try to pick the spots you’ve always meant to try… you’ve just never gotten around to making the reservation.

We usually lean toward restaurants that are:

  • Quieter, so you can actually talk

  • Not so buttoned up that you don’t feel weird showing up in whatever you wore to work that day

  • Known for great food (but we’re also suckers for Insta-worthy interior design)

  • Downtown and Metro-accessible so getting there is easy

  • Friendly to all dietary restrictions so nobody’s stuck ordering a side salad

Frequently Asked Questions

Okay... I signed up to join the Supper Club. Now what?

When we have a dinner that’s a good match based on topic, role, and industry, we’ll reach out directly with an invite.

From there, we’ll ask you to confirm you can attend. Once you’re locked in, we’ll send over the calendar hold with the restaurant details and everything you need to know.

Easy as that.

How much does it cost to attend?

Nothing. Dinner’s on us.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Nope. No pre-work, no slides, no awkward icebreakers. Just show up ready to eat and talk.

What’s the format of the night?

There isn’t a formal one. We’ll do quick intros at the start, then let the conversation flow naturally from there. It’s meant to feel like a normal dinner with new friends.

Who else attends?

A mix of government affairs, advocacy, and public policy professionals across industries. We curate each table so the conversation is relevant, balanced, and worth your time.

Is this a sales event?

No. No presentations, no pitching, no decks. This is a conversation-first environment.

Can I bring a colleague?

Spots are limited, so invites are handled individually. That said, if there’s someone you think would be a great fit, feel free to flag them when you sign up.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

No problem at all. Just indicate any dietary needs on the sign-up form, and we’ll make sure the restaurant can accommodate.

I signed up but didn’t get invited to a dinner — what the heck?

We curate each dinner based on topic, industry focus, and role so that everyone at the table is talking about challenges that actually overlap. That means no one gets invited to every dinner.

The good news: we work hard to make sure everyone who signs up gets invited to multiple dinners over time. If you’re in the mix, you’re on our radar.
